Bago City College proudly marked another milestone in its internationalization journey as it officially sent off four outstanding student ambassadors for the 2026 Fall Exchange Program at Tokiwa University in Mito City, Ibaraki, Japan.
Representing the institution are Jienel Rose P. Caña, Precious Grace P. Cario, Hayen A. Martir, and Jeriza L. Garcia, who will spend the next four months studying in Japan through an academic and cultural exchange program. During their stay, they will undertake Japanese language studies, immerse themselves in Japanese culture, and foster meaningful cross-cultural friendships and global perspectives.
The exchange program reflects Bago City College’s continued commitment to providing transformative international learning opportunities that prepare students to become globally competent and culturally responsive leaders.
The College extends its heartfelt gratitude to the City Government of Bago, headed by Mayor Mayette Javellana-Yao, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bago, Vice Governor Alonso, Board Member Paula Alonso, Board Member Nicholas Yulo, and the Local Government of Moises Padilla, led by Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo, for their unwavering support in making this opportunity possible.
